Cycling is one of my favorite ways to discover the world. In my teenage years, the bicycle represented freedom for me. Almost every corner of my small home country of Slovenia was reachable on it.
I liked the independence it gave me then, and I still like it now. I appreciate even more that a bike is one of the best ways to combine a sports activity with nature. Because of the desire to be active in beautiful Slovenian nature, I soon started taking turns from the road and onto the trails of hilly Slovenia.
And it wasn’t just that. My relationship with cycling has always been diverse — from road cycling and bikepacking to mountain biking. When I first heard of e-bikes, I immediately loved the idea. I knew that it would give me additional flexibility in exploring new locations.
It also allowed my friends and family to join me on the more demanding cycling tours without lagging. Eventually, I accumulated so much knowledge about the world of cycling in Slovenia that people started asking me to help them plan their e-bike tours.
And I realized that I love doing that. My dream was to create a platform where I could help more people, and that is how E-Bike Slovenia came to be — born out of my passion for e-bikes and Slovenia’s landscape.
I gathered a team full of avid cyclists who know Slovenia and its trails like the back of their hands and are continuously expanding their knowledge in the ever-changing world of e-biking.
